Welcome to Naples

The departing point of your discovery journey is Naples; chaotic, noisy and tremendously authentic, if you set aside the usual clichés the city will win you over.

Naples, a city with a beating heart

Your guide will make you discover one of the most genuine parts of Naples where stand the Duomo, the Cloister of Santa Chiara and the San Severo Chapel, with the magnificent Veiled Christ. Stroll through Spaccanapoli, Via San Gregorio Armeno and experience daily life in the typical narrow streets with the local shops, the peculiar balconies and some of the best pizzerias in town. The afternoon is dedicated to Pompeii, the ruins of the Roman town destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius. At night take a pleasant walk from Piazza del Plebiscito to the promenade and enjoy the suggestive and romantic view of the Gulf of Naples crowned by the Vesuvius.

The Amalfi Drive

Let yourself be enchanted by the amazing views of the Amalfi Coast on a private tour with driver who will point out the most panoramic places. Climb the cobbled and fragrant streets of the centre and discover how lovely is Positano, visit the beautiful Cathedral of Sant’Andrea in Amalfi with the Cloister of Paradise and its steep staircase, admire the stunning panorama from Ravello. Your driver will make you discover some unmissable goodies such as the limoncello, the cuoppo and the sweets of Sal de Riso; would you like to know what they are? You only have to take this tour to find out!

Heading to Apulia

Reach Bari by train and visit with a local guide the traditional part of the city with San Nicola Cathedral and its wonderful crypt, the ancient San Sabino Cathedral and the Norman Castle. You will explore the alleyways where the local housewives make orecchiette in front of your eyes and visit local shops offering the best of the typical Apulian products.

Matera, the town of stone

A private driver will take you to Matera, stopping on the way at Altamura to visit a bakery producing the traditional bread in the ancient oven. Once in Matera, walk through its famous cave-dwelling districts and visit the rupestrian churches; enjoy a tuk tuk tour to discover the unexpected corners of the town with a local and finalize your day in a restaurant with a view over the “Sassi”.

Charming villages of the Itria Valley

Today your private driver will take you to explore the Itria Valley and its fairy tale villages among which stands out Alberobello, featuring the traditional cone-roofed small houses, Locorotondo, listed among the most charming villages of Italy, and Cisternino, famous for its grilled meats that you will taste at lunchtime. Passing through the countryside burnt by the blazing sun and covered by a sea of olive groves, you will reach Ostuni, deservedly famous as the White Town. Visit the town and a hypogean oil mill before boarding the train to Lecce.

Lecce, a masterpiece of the baroque

Meet your private guide who will walk you through the city top attractions while unveiling its rich history, anecdotes and legends, but also ancient traditions such as the manufacturing processes of the papier-mâché. You will have the chance to take a short break and taste the typical “pasticciotto” in one of the many historic cafés of the centre. Once on your own delve into the excellence of the food tradition by tasting the “puccia”, a hot round shaped baked bread stuffed with marinated vegetables cheese ham and mozzarella, and the Rustico, a pastry stuffed with mozzarella, béchamel sauce, tomato and pepper.

Discovering Salento

Visit the gems of Salento where you will have the possibility to stop and take pictures all along the coast. Enjoy some free time in Gallipoli, the “pearl of the Ionian sea”, taste the delicious fresh fish, and explore the beautiful town of Otranto. You will need just one day to fall in love with the beauty of Salento.
